3.Old Town Tequila and Tacos Walking Food Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 71 reviews · 2h 30m · from $89

Walk San Diego’s Old Town with an English-speaking guide such as Ben, Blerta, or Magda, combining Mexican food, tequila samples, local stories, cemetery history, and a view of the Whaley House. You’ll visit three restaurants, enjoy dessert, and finish at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

“We love Old Town and thought this would be perfect for a night out from the kids. Our guide Rochelle was awesome. She was incredibly personable and easy going while still knowing a lot of history about the town. The food was amazing. You sample three restaurants and get root beer floats at the last stop. The sample margaritas were actually delicious and although not a big size, still went perfect with the sample meal. We may do it again just for fun!”

San Diego: Old Town Tales, Tacos, and Tequila Walking Tour

4.Old Town Tales, Tacos, and Tequila Walking Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 21 reviews · 2h 30m · from $85

Spend 150 minutes with guide Jennifer exploring Old Town’s adobes, churches, cemetery, and early settlement sites. You’ll taste a handmade tortilla, three gourmet street tacos, chips and salsa, and one tequila, margarita, beer, or soda at El Agave. Expect steady walking, local stories, and time to shop.

“A fantastic tour of Old Town San Diego. Jennifer was incredibly knowledgeable. She gave several opportunities to stop and shop or linger over exhibits. If you’ve taken food tours in other cities, this one is different. You try two types of plain tortillas to start and then have tacos with a drink at the end of the tour. Our tour did run long(not the guides fault, the restaurant was packed).”
